Good summary Cat and you are correct you have been conservative.

Loss nearer to 40,000 and not sure how many times it was fancied and the owners had a punt to win? could be a massive loss, again only an assumption, but its normal to have a punt on your own horse.

Thanks Cats for the input. Looking at those costs make me wonder how people can still afford to buy horses anymore. Either you in business or have a very good inheritance to play with. Not a game for the ordinary.
