Happy Christmas to all
Elusive Heart’s target race was the Grand Heritage, but the rain delay put paid to that.- the Flamboyant stakes was the backup plan, and she is course and distance suited - her best ever run was probably her third in the gr1 Garden Province stakes behind surprise winner Redberry Lane last year. There was some disruption to work a couple of weeks ago due to heavy rain at Summerveld but all back on track and she has been working well and we are expecting a decent run. It’s quite a competitive field- I make Vistula the one to beat. Silent Crusade has a wide draw but is in good form and the same applies to Master Keys. Winter Sun is an improving 3yo which must be respected. Roy’s Reviera and Aurelia Cotta are also quartet inclusions.
I think that we are good ew value at 10/1 and I am quite hopeful of a top 3 finish.

I love how well the commentator and the presenter did after the race, not to comment on the ride of Born to Perform. You can just hear what they are thinking though... :silly:

Bad ride by SK. Going for a gap that clearly was not there. Tonsil!

Greek Sword should like the extra distance today.
