Interesting racing where quite a few of the hotties could be vulnerable of they don't act on what is probably going to be softish ground ..... thoughts:
R1: I think Elvis's Golden Tune represents fair value and could go close here with luck in running being drawn slightly wide
R2: Competitive start to the BP - Double Hearts has the form, but it will depend on how soft the ground is and whether he acts on it ....Smoking Hot from an in-form stable found some betting support in his debut and could make improvement here along with Strada Statale
R3: Lady of Steel no value going 1600 for the first time added to the question of the going; Pretty Ballerina has run well in the soft and good value imo with Sally Called
R4: Everybody is expecting a Tarry match race - I'm not convinced; Captain of Tortuga and Greek Fire both capable and not that far out at the weights with Tierra del Fuego - let's see ...
R5: Another race where I think the betting is wrong; Pool Party obvious chance but does not have great form over this track and trip (2nds from 6 tries), so beatable imo; La Bella Mia effective this track and trip as is Ouro who has the benefit of a good draw as well - and both have proved effective on soft ground; Nicky Noo also capable but has never run around this turn; Carioca to me may prefer slightly further but also can't be ignored with El Zara
R6: Anne Boleyn effective in the soft and has the benefit of pole position - if this does not come too soon after running in the week, she does look the right one, if not it looks open; The Great Queen looks well weighted, but not proven in the soft, while the opposite applies to UFO (cheek pieces could help); Encryption and Evening Rise should be in the mix as well and the real roughie is Tombola, who is either being freshened up, but the jockey selection suggests something may be in the works ....
R7: Spero Optima is way better than rated and only a problem with the ground can stop him imo; Green Laser, Snow Palace or Mohican could take advantage should he slip up
R8: Approach Control another who stands out at the weights; but he has run his worst race in the soft; none of the others have been proven on soft ground either - obvious danger is Risk Taker, but we could be in for a train smash here
R9: Open handicap to close; all the ones in the betting have claims, but if it dries out, I'm going to have an each-way go at Earth Sky - all 3 his wins have been at this track and there is from to suggest that he can be competitive at these weights
Enjoy

One of these days he will get a better draw - unfortunately I don't think he will start at those type of odds again ....
