The governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo passed a bill banning the testing for COVID at old age homes AND that no virus positive person will be denied access to these old age homes.

We have enough drama and speculation to last us through the virus in racing circles, so I will just pick 2 songs that are appropriate.

As a former proper drinker and party fiend I will say I enjoyed drinking mostly - HOWEVER this am I had occasion to report cell phone and cards stolen - I am familiar with my local SAPS station having lived in the area for years - This is the first time that at 7am the charge office was EMPTY - not a single person barring the 5 officers - Normally full on weekends with drunken citizens who committed crimes and relatives, including domestic abuse victims- I asked the officer attending and he confirmed that the no drink law has changed behavior - I don't think banning sales alcohol is fair BUT I do think we as a society need to have a serious debate about substance abuse and its causes after lock-down - We all know that drinkers are not equal and some behave badly(I have on numerous occasions) so perhaps a debate regarding moderation could help.

actually pissed off - went to clothing store (warehouse) - Never in my life have I seen so many people in that shop - They just allowed way more people in than should be allowed and no sticking to any distancing so I suppose some crims took the opportunity to pickpocket because they have masks on already and people are confused because of the new rules - Phone not essential as i have another but now I have no drivers either as that was in my cell holder - Lots of people in that store also decided that once in the store they no longer needed face masks (strange to see mostly women breaking regulations) - I also went into a few other stores and was amazed to see STAFF not wearing masks -

We should be thanking our rulers for allowing us to buy clothes and to take walks.

If we behave, we might get more privileges.

......at the SPAR yesterday I saw a cash in transit collection.....man are those armed okes super nervous with the many masked men around them...
