Day 146 of the lockdown and a wonderful pic MAC.

I did go to the bottle store yesterday and no panic but certain customers certainly don’t trust Ramaphosa, trolleys were loaded.

Power cuts are back this week and it’s a pity that Preventive Maintenance was never in the vocabulary of the new government.

It’s still a battle to beat the bookies these days with hotties getting beat on a regular basis but back to decent racing from York where we can gain revenge.
Racing : from a cold Greyville where first timers play a major roll in the early races.
It’s day one from York
The Buick/Appleby combination have a strong hand and can win with
CLOUDBRIDGE .
I am sticking with DARAIN to beat the fav Mogul.
Darain first race was super impressive and the second was a bit hard work but I am backing this one until beat.
Buick and Appleby should be back in winners circle with GHAIYYATH can run a top class field off their feet.

As far as a song, if all goes well with MOD, one of the top MOD bands were Style Council and one of my fav songs.

A great start would be a family fun day at Randjies where we can celebrate before the hard work has to start.

If you re-arrange MOD, you get OMD...that great band of the 80's...with the classic movie song "If You Leave"...:cheer:

Ugh man. Load shedding kicks in my area 4pm. I’m going to miss the Juddmonte. I wonder if DSTVnow will work on the mobile?

The pub is on different zone although only one street away, so everything points to happiness.

Day 147 of the lockdown.

The sun is shining but it’s still rather cold.
We had 2 power cuts yesterday around 6 hrs downtime.

Will check today’s schedule to make sure I can watch York.

What about the performance from Ghaiyyath ( think I will just call it the big G)
A real galloping machine and the odds have been slashed for the ARC.
5/2 enable 3/1 Love , runs today and is 4/9 but couple of Frankel babies to beat. The big G is 5/1.

Racing drama continues and hope we can put all the red tape behind us and just get down to having an upswing for racing.

On the subject of G do you remember Kenny?
