Yes it is the same artist! I have had this one for 20 years - I inherited it from Walter Weigan (well known bookie)

thanks for letting me know John...... if Dave has a similar one as well, just how many of these did this artist paint ?

did he do a dozen or so ( similar ) all in one week, while he was on a roll ?

i'm now guessing he is S.African..... wonder if he is still around...... would like to know how many he painted !

Funny enough I got mine from the Eerenstien bookies (Hans and Louis)
Sure Walter also had a cubicle at Bosman St

Anyone know the correct spelling?

I guess that he made a number similar ones and that they were sold framed

we bought ours as a canvas painting ............ my wife tells me from THE WORKSHOP mall in Durban, ( about 25 years ago ) we were flying back so we had to buy a canvas only..
