I have the feeling that it is going to be easier for them to say no than yes, ignoring that Oz and Hong Hong are continuing ok.

Surely if it was they would have discussed it under agriculture last night. Not a good sign. Once again I say as much as I want racing again I’m not sure how those clowns will see it.
I would think auction sales and breeding would fall under Agriculture and Racing would fall under Sport and Entertainment - Like manufacturing of Motor Vehicles vs Motor Racing - I don't really think Racing per se is a risk behind closed doors but the worry would be IF there was an outbreak of Covid at a training center and Grooms and trainers were sick(I suppose 60% would show symptoms) who would look after the horses?
Agree fully. It is easier to say no.I read on sporting post how they think they have a good chance as government acknowledged their application and escalated it.That actually means nothing,it’s like doing a bond application and because they accepted the application doesn’t meant you can run out and choose a house. Even the presidents word means nothing. But we just remain in hope but if I had to have a bet it would be that they would say level 3.

It`s more worrying that they are expecting South Africa`s peak to be September
Yesterday`s stats were pretty bad!

It is worrying as it is climbing in western cape as the townships have now got it and spreading. Which makes me think that even level 3 is far away. We are more likely to go back to level 5 before level 3. Feel sorry for bar and resteraunt owners and staff.

Yes last night.
It marked a day people won’t forget, just 2 days after freedom day Zuma lodged a objection against the president and it was upheld..new result.

......makes Cyril look weak.....they have no clear policies and fumble and stumble along....each with their own agendas .... feel for smokers and the loss of potential revenue on sales of smokes....now we see the Cuban health workers are not a freebie either....gonna pull a half a billion ZAR out of the coffers that could have supported our own health care efforts....kids at school with masks....maybe the minister of education is getting a chop from a mask manufacturer/supplier and that thick Zuma woman together with the transport minister is in on it.....
