Back to racing matters, jockey Chisty redeemed himself on Bestday Of Mylife, giving the horse the absolute perfect ride to win.

Question for you Deeno, if jockeys in Mau like Chisty are capable of such balanced and well placed rides, why are they so inconsistent in producing rides like these?
If you look at race 3 for example, the jocks in front were never going to win following what they did.

Two for Chisty.
Doing the punters a big favour but getting up to beat the 36-1 shot.

I cannot answer that buddy.
Trainers are perplexed as well. These jocks are young and I am not sure what goes into their heads when they in a race. Chisty is actually Indian and not Mauritian.
All I can tell you is that last Tuesday all jockeys were called by the authorities to a meeting to discuss suspensions, cowboy style of riding etc.
At the rate of suspensions, there will be no jockeys left to ride.
Even Derrick is suspended for the next meeting.

Perhaps Bernard can win the LAST but I've stopped backing ODD ON SHOTS....... so he can win the last without my money.
However R 7 a tiny field of 4 runners only....u know the saying - the smaller the field - THE BIGGER THE UPSET....SO I've a few BOB on Bernard - MADE TO CONQUER - A TOP horse in SA.. @ 11/ 1 ( with a few bob I made from ALL ABOUT THE BASS - so can't get hurt here & with a bit of luck - A LOT TO GAIN

Hopefully this brings about a new age of consistency, as I rate Mauritius racing as the racing I enjoy playing most. Easy to follow and get caught up in the hype for horses there.

Bernie beaten by Nabeel Batchameah on the odds on in the last race.
4kg claiming apprentice who came from off the pace, looks a decent prospect I think.
Going to follow this lightie, anything above average in Mauritius and you should get winners.

He only has 1 ride today, and his Stable only 2 runners...oh well so be it.
