Race 7 - Interesting race. American Princess impressed last start but i do think Calandra can get closer if tucked away early as wasn't that settled last time. August Leaves wins as though he will appreciate the extra and is my first choice.

Agrella not riding well today, left August leaves with way too much work to do and managed to run it out the PA.First race with the heavily backed favorite he went to fast upfront.
Hope he wakes up next race with Legal Eagle.

The move of stable has not done him any good, time to retire I would think.
But even worse was the run from National Park, how underdone was this horse?
How can you bring a horse to the races that unfit?
Both beaten around 15 lengths maybe more by horses rated at least 20 MR points lower.
Paper Town, who finished 3rd,was rated 40 points less than National Park only getting 5.5kg.

I doubt that the move did him any ill - the horse has run his heart out for ages and should have been retired last year when anybody with some idea of racing could tell that physically he had lost ability though his will to try was still there - If he was going to be a pet for the stable then why not let him be the PE lead horse or train babies but to force him to race for 35K ...

He’s in PE to retire as Yvette’s horse.

Sure she just wanted to have the thrill of racing him

He’ll be very well cared for

not if he breaks down in a race which could well have happened if the jock did not ease him out - He is that type of horse that could run himself to death as he has a fighting heart -

And perhaps it would be only fair to the putting public to be informed that a horse of his calibre is racing "just for the trill of it" as from that performance the writing was all over the wall at the stables
