Race 7 We have Elusive Heart running. She has thrived in PE and despite the wide draw I think that she is a huge runner as she can be placed and will run on. Madame Speaker is the main danger. All of 2,4,5,6, 7 can fill the quartet.
Race 9 We have Twin Falls running in a very competitive handicap. She is fit and well and will run up to form, but there are quite a few handily weighted younger fillies which will make this very tough for her.
Race 6 Meryl is the class act, but Onesie stays all day and could cause the upset.

Hi Mr H, yes it initially sold for R1.5 bar.

Apparently there were issues with the horse and Ziets' guys picked it up for R25,000.

Hopefully the big man is working his magic and they have a nice one on their hands.

But R25,000, after the debut, looks like very good business by Ziets, Sir.

Hi Peter, Elusive Heart is one of my favorite horses and I horse that I track and follow. Obviously you know her much better than me, but my thought is that her ideal racing distance is 1400m with a strong pace over turf.

My question to you, Sir, is whether the extra 200m will be in her compass whilst maintaining her class. I say this because I dont think that a 1600m dawdle will suit her style. I am very happy to watch and cheer her on without punting her. To me, she is the class horse in the race and is weighted very nicely today.

As ever, thanks for posting

Elusive Heart is very versatile. 1200m is a bit sharp, she comes into her own at 1400m. She has no problem with 1600m, and has run close up to the best fillies of her generation this trip.

Carioca looks really good., Alert and switched on.

She is the only horse that really runs on and the course is sympathetic to finishers today. 8 horse field with 3 or 4 non triers is ideal to take a 3 places bet

To me she is a great place bet at odds against.
