Could be but Lafferty alone cost punters plenty today,probably knocked most out twice in the pick 6.
But I'm sure in the interview he will say how well this horse was working and they expected it to win and Lady Of Lutetia he will find some excuse,as most trainers do,why it didn't win.

I hear what you say...but you have to read "body language"...and that is why no trainer wants to commit...because you are damned if you do...and you are damned if you don't...

it lies in the interpretation...

if I may give you one piece of advice...

make your own selection...and then use odds/trainer/owner/jockey selection to reinforce your bet and amount wagered stroke...dash...type of bet...
if that makes sense...

yip...like all of us...no-one wants to do poorly...but we don't all have the same capabilities...or opportunities...sometimes one harsh criticism make destroy a career...
