As alluded to in many posts on this forum, SA racing has now become a farce.
Studying form is a waste of time when analysing fields and then frequently no hopers suddenly show marked improvement and win. The comments , incredulousness and explanations by the trainers and owners are fairy tale stuff.
Exotics are frequently either big pay outs, carryovers or a percentage won by ???
The lotto and power ball will be cheaper to play with equal odds.

Be like Magi and bet the UK,it can only be better than here.
Well I think even in Ngong the horses keep their form better.
As for the trainers explanations,I really do think they didn't even know the horse would win most times.
Bad horses are inconsistent horses and we have them in abundance especially in KZN.
Look at Double Rainbow in race 7,how can it run such a bad race, think it came last or second to last, against very mediocre horses after we hear the stable rate it very highly.
But as usual there will be an excuse.
We just got to face it that we no powerhouse anymore when it comes to horse racing.
