Just check the collateral form out on Formgrids.
Greg Cheyne set it up beautifully for him.

What I'm trying to say is that somebody knew more than the trainer, and I think that's obvious when you see how much money came for it and the way it won.
And you say nothing about the Fav who could not place? It's racing and even the Jock thought the horse was still fat and would be better for the run - I cannot say this enough- If all these coups take place every day why on earth would trainers need owners? Show me a champion trainer that only trains for himself? If only you knew how many trainers big and small have fallen in with bookies and have owed money to the sales companies-

Snaith told us he has a virus in the stable so that could be why the favorite ran such a bad race.
Then that money must have come from some punters who knew nothing about the horse and just liked the form and didn't read the trainers comments.
Or the usual we hear day in day out, horses make fools of us.

His form was very good - his time on the day in his last start was better than 24 other horses and you missed the big weight change- He lost 2 stone with the gelding

Would appear to have been Lemon and Lime. Horse went down with the lead pony as well. Probably not settled properly for race day. Got scared being boxed in against the rail and then jumped through it.

I was one that took Firealley as part of a yankee yesterday, at 5/2, without knowing the trainer's thoughts, simply based on his prior form, being gelded and offered better value than the fav imo.
(Not arming, just pointing out that others with more money probably thought the same)
