Not sure about that Thor,I think the winner started the interference.
But I think will marginally still keep the race...60/40 overruled as he probably still had the second horse's measure as you said

many years ago there was an objection between two Robbie Maroun babies both ridden by appies- One ridden by Heinz Runge(I think he went to NZ) and the other ridden by I think Fransie Herholdt - Both were his regular appies - During the race over the final furlong the two kids started hitting each other with their crops as the babies moved onto each other - I can't recall if the placings were reversed but both got suspensions or fines but memory gone as each strand of hair left my poor head and the remainder grayed-

Custodian against Kumluckie in the 2yr old feature at Greyville over 1000m in about 1980. Kumluckie( Muis Roberts) cut off Custodian( Paul Gadsby) just after the jump. Objection upheld.
