Never have I been so happy to lose a bet - well done to Romeo Francis(and his life-partner) and Mr Gray

Ran a decent race but still got beaten by a 50-1 shot.
Saw De Kock was the trainer so luckily stayed out.

Mr H, did you ever visit the Indaba Project in Cape Town, three floors high, literally.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Maybe not suited to the inner course, but that's history, running again on Saturday, lump on.

No - the only time I went clubbing there was with Geoff Sinclair(Citizen racing Journo) after Empress won the Guineas and we got kicked out I think because Geoff courted trouble though a man of note. I remember very little about that place.

That's it, to Hell with reading palms, I will read dirty feet and charge more - not only Trump can be a scammy grifter - can i have an Amen
In the 80's and 90's there was a crew in Gauteng who made (by their account) telephone numbers by watching for new allumites in the ring - Perhaps you can revive that especially in Kzn where tea-leaves and dart boards often are the ruling form guides
I used to also in the 80's...that, and watch the jocks impress/tip the young girls,
never made much, but would pay for the day...Clairwood/Greyville

That last one was a shock, but what a lekker feeling to give tribute to a legend in the game.
On to the rest of the day
Dance Class or Hero's Honour
Going wide - 1,3,4,5,6,7 although I do no think Certifiable can win, still included
Chimichuru Run - balls on the table
Reunion, but if she fails FSquadron will be there
Banker Nartjie, or go very wide - 1,2,3,4,6,8,11
Have fun guys

Meta bunch of "Lebs" in the 90's who used to go to the course (Jhb) with binoculars and look for the shiny "allies", think they were sort of successful - each to his own i guess.

One of them must have been George - Big guy - long hair and always wore what looked like ex-army or lace up biker boots - I would often meet up with him in Hillbrow or Rocky Street after Racing and he was always the last to leave but sure as hell he was in the Tats early or at the track next day

Could have sworn we are racing on the stand-side track
