Frodo wrote: Chancing my arm in the Windy City today with a BP - obviously not with a lot of confidence - thoughts

R1: Baby race - the odds-on shot the obvious one - I'm including Admiral's Shine as the 4kg allowance should help with these juveniles

R2: Another odds-on shot who looks hard to beat on Cape form - I'm backing her up with the other ex-Cape runner Cape Batis who, although well beaten, comes out of strong form-lines

R3: As per the betting What a Flight and Autumn Sky look the principles - I'm also adding in the debutante Good Vibes - guessing really

R4: Golden Chance look really hard to oppose; again I'm adding the apprentice's ride claiming the 4 kgs and also Storyland - probably overkill

R5: Into the handicaps and although Apollo Ace should go close, stranger things have happened, and I'm adding a whole lot including the rank outsiders Miss Honey and Varsity Bourbon, who both have decent turf form

R6: Novice Plate, but does not look that easy, going wide again including the aptly named Little Drummer Boy - but won't be surprised to be scuttled in the last leg - if I get that far

Enjoy B)

Easy game - I need to start concentrating on PE :cheer:

Main race looks at the mercy of the Snaith and Bass runners. But Sailing Ship has run in pretty good company, like Celtic Sea and one of the most discussed horses lately, Mississipi Burning.

I will add Luna Wish now that Mr Ndlovu has the ride, as well as the stables favoured son, Mr Cheye on Wallis Simpson. That is my quartet and Trifecta

I have gone for the Snaith runner to win

I thought you have given it up :P

And yes I did not make a profit on the BP - although I took one with the favorites a couple of times - I was more pointing out that many of my other choices ran in the money - anyway enjoy your New Year (just remember to keep to that wish to give up punting)

Looking for a good run from Lion King here. Tara always tries hard with her horses as Sailing Ship proved in the previous race

As Bob stated,
You can still enjoy racing without having to punt.

Didnt play a cent today...

Keep blowing your trumpet on a perm that equates to a loss.
Easy game.

Don't think Doppio Oro stays 1600m.
Would try to beat it.

Outsiders in last race:
3- Popsicle Toes (33-1)
9- Throng (12-1)

Swingers:
3,7,9,11

Oops - just as well you have given up punting :P

And if you haven't caught on yet, my post was in jest; I have been on this forum many, many years - and I think anyone that has come to know me, would know that I'm not really one for blowing that trumpet - anyway as I said - have a great 2021

Thanks Frodo.

If I had your vast knowledge on how to tip a bipot then I'd have given up a long time ago and retired with all my winnings.

Easy game.
