Should be carrying 50.5kg, at the weights, I think it has it all to do.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

The form of the 3yr old fillies is confusing to me; Ballroom Bliss ran 6.6 lengths behind Captain's Ransom at level weights - and almost 3 lengths behind Chat Ching; on that, Flower of Saigon is better than her, as she previously finished only 1.25 lengths behind Chat Ching - so taking the Capt Ransom run into account, Ballroom Bliss should be around 103 - so Flower of Saigon perhaps around 108 - yet she got beat in a handicap next time off a rating of 86

The 5yr old mare Icon Princess finished 3.4 lengths behind Captain's Ransom, giving that one 7 kgs - so effectively she is about 1.5 lengths better than Captain's Ransom at level weights; making Icon Princess around 8 lengths better than Ballroom Bliss at level weights - so should - in theory  - still hold both 3 yr olds at today's weight
So much for theory - well done Neon

Clan, have a wager on Seeking Peace in the 1st, was 7/1 available earlier today, now 4/1, still good value.

I think its an apt name as well, under the current climate.

So true.
Sticking with names, thought Starboard was aptly named, and is even the correct colour (the majority of the silks, that is)

Hot sunny day with an expected brisk headwind. They have put in a fair amount of irrigation this week, but course will run fast.
Race 1 As usual, the baby races on these big days are strong. Winter Mosaic good winner, but must now give weight. Seeking Peace improved last time, and can turn the tables with a stronger jockey and getting 3kg. Jewel Of Doha looked clueless on debut, but got going nicely towards the end, and is a tentative selection as I think that she has huge scope for improvement. Rio Supremo should also come on from the run, and is a threat. All of 1,4,5,6,8 have been entered for the listed race on Met day. High Hosanna must be respected as Snaith targets these big days and particularly wants to reward the main sponsor. Dame Colleen and Global Goddess likewise.
Our filly Treasure Hunt is a sensible filly and has shown signs of class in her work, but has not had a full grass gallop- only the 600m when going through the starting stalls at Milnerton. She is thrown in the deep end here and we will have a better idea of how she rates after this run. Whatever happens, she will come on from this and I will be delighted if she can finish within a few lengths of the winner. selection 5/4/7/6
Race 2 Queen Niyabah last run can be ignored as she was a victim of the stable virus. If back to best she should win this. Little Doe fair debut and with normal improvement could challenge. Not much between Wife of Windsor, In Your Time , Ohwhatanight and all have claims. selection 1/10/ 2/3
Race 3 This looks a boat race between Katie To and Starboard, with a preference for Starboard. Quite a few others can improve to challenge, perhaps Duplicity next best. selection 11/1/4/10
Race 4 Helen's Ideal was supposed to run in the Ladies Bracelet in PE but did not go for logistical reasons. Its a pity, as I think that she could have won that race. She is fit and well and will give a good account of herself today, but the 1400m on good ground is on the sharp side for her these days, and the stable companion, Icon Princess must be respected. Larentina has not recaptured her 3yo form, but at her best she is weighted to win this. Flower of Saigon looks the best of the 3yos and must be included. Our Prized Jewel and Queen of Quiet are too short in the betting but are capable. selection 1/2/5/7
Race 5 majestic Mozart is not the most reliable, but is very well in at the weights here and should win. Capoeira below best last time but next best weighted. selection 3/2/7/1
Race 6 Not the strongest renewal of this race. Follow The Star reverts to her best distance, and should be hard to beat at the weights. Elusive Fortune and Jacqueline next best but an upset is possible here. selection 6/5/4/7
Race 7 Celtic Sea the obvious banker. Pretty Young Thing , Roll in the hay and Hello Winter Hello for the places.
selection 1/3/6/5/
race 8 The most open race on the card, and I'm putting the field in my pick 6. selection 9/3/7/11/
