To my mind Fynbos was given a shocker of a ride ... coming off the bend steered left, jerked right, then left ... then no where to go... so just cruised to the finish.

I`m sure that if the Hollywood Punter`s Challenge was held today,it most certainly would have been won. 7 out of 8 favourites.

And Lyle!!! Well wat can u say?? shocking!
Marina is a future champion, Related to Marinaresco (July Winner). The horse like to be ridden this way and it is no fault of Grants. Marmalisa probably needed the run off a rest.
Sir did u watch both the races? In the 6th it looked like(once again to me in my humble uneducated opinion) Grant didnt try in the least and wen the horse took off to look like its was gonna be involved in the finish it looked like he stopm trying and even put his hand down and stopped riding 5/6 strides before the line! and with Marina even tho he had a checkered run balked several times and looked like all was lost he got really really stuck in and made sure he got up!! For ME this in not fair to all the ppl out there that have put money on his mount where he doesnt try cos for whatever reason is going thru his mind!!
im am not educated enuff on breeding and horses coming of rests etc. its put in the race to do its best to TRY win and if its get beat fair and square all fair in love and war but wen a jock who has tipped someone something else and dont try based on that then I have issues with that! If u listened to grants interview before the race he made it seem like antons mounts was hard to beat!
but hey u prob right and im jus sour grapes cos he didnt win when i needed him to!

Great tipping.

R2) Safe Return X (R6) Kitty Cat Chat X (R8) Warrior
Feeling brave, add R4, Forgetful Girl.
Safe Return (7/10), was a comfortable 3.75 lengths second on Met Day, with the fourth a further 5.75 lengths behind Safe Return. The juveniles races, always watch for money on the first timers, although i feel the racing experience will benefit Safe Return.
Forgetful Girl (17/10), another who should have won last time out, looked a winner everywhere but at the finish. From a good draw, should be the one they all have to beat.
Kitty Cat Chat (15/20), this looks to be something special, will follow until beaten, don't think that will be on Wednesday.
Warrior (18/10), based on times on the day, Warrior's finishing time would have place him 3.63 lengths behind Jet Dark, winner of the Queens Plate, no horse of that calibre here, and that's good enough for me.
