We as the punters are getting shafted meeting after meeting and we still go back for more.
The trainer comrnents after roughies improve dramatically are " dramatic".
Race 5 Panna Cotta. The form is diabolical. Exotic tickets still in the running? .Hmmmm.
Well I suppose if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen.

Four favorites, one win and the rest unplaced.
Still not bad actually a 25% strike rate but I'm sure he's more comfortable riding for the Cape trainers, better horses and probably conditioned better also.

Durbs, any actual evidence to support your 'probably conditioned better' assertion?

Well lets look at it this way.
When last did a KZN trainer win the Met,July or Summer Cup?
The Cape trainers win their share that is for sure.
Why is the Cape and Gauteng form so much stronger than KZN?
We can't always say oh it's the horse because all the horses come from the same sales yet most that end up in KZN just don't go on to become top class performers lately.
Can you tell me why you think that is?
And remember we have the best training facilities in the land yet we just don't seem to be very competitive in the major races.
KZN's highest ranked trainer is Garth Puller who is in 19th place in the national trainers log.
Next Dennis Drier 25th.

Whats the mean and median prices of horses running in KZN vs CP and GP?
