@Sharky, thank you for challenging the comment. I admit that It was a generalized statement, and probably most people involved in horse racing are true animal lovers (hopefully) . Its just that the optics are not good. How could the owner "sticks" by this heartless, cruel imbecile? It's unfathomable.

If he were a trainer with 10 horses he would have had to take out a mortgage on his property to pay the fine and without a doubt have lost his licence.
