Agree 100% , unlike a certain overrated british flat jockey who winners are usually with armchairs at Lingfield Park

imvho , far too many of GVN rides , he appears disinterested whereas Superman has a go on everything he rides even if they are moderate

Craig - for someone that’s not interested he sure rides plenty winners for lots of different yards.

At least this weekend others will get a chance.

I am not a Marcus fan at all ... but with a career WIN strike rate of 25% it is hardly possible to dismiss his prowess. That said it is interesting to note that 69.8% of his rides started 5/1 or shorter, with a win strike rate of 59% on ODDS ON shots...
Consider that a lot of those could be labelled 'too short because of who is on top' ... that is still an excellent strike rate. I cannot think of anyone locally with a better strike rate (having had more than 2000 rides)

GVN is a very naturally talented rider but just don't ask him anything when he is not sitting on a horse

Delpech still my highest rated jock

Will any of the aforementioned jockeys get close to 5500 winners ????? There's only 1 Striker..........the best we've seen.

Continues to impress whether it’s Group 1’s or maidens.

He has been best jockey in the country by a long long way for a while now!!
