I doubt the result would have been different but is dangerous none the less....

What Samuel should have done

Delpech at his brilliant best. Marcus was a long odds on favorite that day. I think Delpech had 5 or 6 winners that night meeting.

Absurd to allow a jock to let his horse drift from the inside rail all the way to the outside rail in the stretch-halting momentum of an opponent- and Anton made zero effort to straighten out his ride.

That's true but now the stipes have to be 100% sure that the 2nd horse would have beaten the winner.

Reminds me of Greeff.
Honestly Moodley would be my last jockey I want on a odds on shot.
Missed the break and then decided to run 3 wide the whole way and probably the ability of the horse got it into 3rd place.
Obviously the stable knew there wasn't too much between the stable companions but teach your horse to jump on terms next time.

In this case, punters were Viljoened !!

In the Eastern Cape. you get Greeffed and just occasionally Smithed...

In the Western Cape, you get Snaithed...

In Gauteng, you get Tarryed...

Eish, tough life this !!

I wouldn't put it past her that they set the race up for this result.
Money was on the winner and conveniently the stable companion who was odds on misses the break and the jock takes it 3 wide the whole way.
As TNaicker often says it's easy for a jockey to make the horse lose.

I am amazed HB let me place this bet ... here's hoping Calvin can do the business for me on Panna Cotta.

1 Horse Racing South Africa HOLLYWOODBETS GREYVILLE POLY RACE 5 2021-03-15 15:15 8. ASSURED M/Win 12.50 Complete
2 Horse Racing South Africa HOLLYWOODBETS GREYVILLE POLY RACE 6 2021-03-15 15:50 12. PANNA COTTA M/Win 16.67 Pending
3 Horse Racing South Africa HOLLYWOODBETS GREYVILLE POLY RACE 7 2021-03-15 16:25 6. MASTER GEORGE M/Win 25.00

I took the FP trixie full.... this was small... but the over all odds are HUGE.

Guys this is total bull, trainers pulling jobs like this, watch next time out broadway will by 5..talk about fixing sport games like cricket, soccer etc this is exactly same, trainers should only be allowed 1 horse to be entered in a race, maybe with exception to grade 1..

I have said this before. I am sick of the games that Serino plays. The Stipes should look into this and investigate it.
