Put it on a surface that it doesn't enjoy,get it's merit rating down and when you happy with the MR put it on it's preferred surface and hope the bookies aren't too clever to it.
You really can't blame trainers for doing this as the stakes are peanuts and have to make ends meet somehow.

This is thought game I played my punters entries this morning only to see that it wasn't submitted after race 1 else I would have been in the running today but that's life shit happens. I like no1 in the last also
