There was a bit of drizzling yesterday evening but it's the Poly and the surface should be running standard.

A nightmare card today after an easy day at Kenilworth yesterday.
Princess Anastasia steps up to the mile today and first run on the poly. She runs here because we couldnt get a draw on the turf. Has had a canter on the poly at Summerveld, so I don't think that the surface will be a problem.
She did not beat much last time, but that was only her second start but still a win full of merit as she was still very inexperienced and the 1200m was too short. We think that she is a progressive filly, and should end up much higher than the MR 72 that she achieved last time. If she handles the poly then I think that she is a huge runner with the natural improvement.
Her dam, Princess Victoria, was probably the most talented that I've ever had a share in, now sadly deceased, and hopefully this turns out to be her best offspring.
If she does win, then it will be a personal milestone, as i am sitting on 299 wins as an owner to date.
The bubbly is on ice just in case.
