for all their own hype and talk...They could still take the time actually show the horses canter to post...an aerial view of horses walking to post...I don't know what they are trying to show?

Hoping that Elusive Fort can have a big day with Catch Twentytwo and Kommetdieding.
Race 5 The Peter yard have opted to go with the good draws rather than pure distance suitability, so this may be slightly short for Catch Twentytwo, but he gets my vote as he's run very well this trip and should be a fit horse. Rainbow Bridge is the class horse, but the trip and this being his first run after the break may catch him out. However, he must be respected as must Golden Ducat. Eden Roc is a class sprinter, and from pole position should be right there. Ultra Magnus is another that could upset.
Race 6 Captain's Ransom is a deservedly short priced favourite, and will be a popular banker. Princess Calla looks her main danger, and has had the benefit of a run in KZN. All of 1,2,7,9 for the quartets.
Race 7 A cracking contest, where all of MK's Pride, Linebacker, Russian Rock, Kommetdieding, Seeking the Stars and The Gatekeeper have claims. Despite the lack of a prep run, I will go with Kom to remain unbeaten.
Race 8 An open contest- we have Drama Queen running and she is bottom of the boards as she has had a disappointing few months in KZN. She has been working better recently, and hopefully is over the niggles that have bothered her. She gets a nice draw, a light galloping weight, and we are hoping for a bounce back to her old form.

All those that backed Dragon Queen can thank Gavin Lerena - what a ride.
Those that backed the 2nd horse wont be impressed by the 14 strikes the winner received in the straight. Won that by breaking the use of the whip laws.
