Glacier Gold was backed into favorite on the tote and Zackey this time tries to come from last and mistimes his finish to run 2nd.
Good ride by De Melo but Glacier Gold should have won that.
I would say he's fast becoming a Purton on favorites but at least he finds a place and not a short head 4th that Zac is famous for.

Eish...that's terrible...as trained as jockey's are, we sometimes lose sight of just how dangerous their jobs are sitting atop an animal that is +-10 times the jockey's mass and moving at 50-60 kms/hr...

Hope he recovers...going to be a long road...strength to him and family...
