Nice looking card with competitive racing , if you get your combinations correct could get some decent payouts

Race 5: Constable my value on the day , in a race with a lot of speed horses , this one can sit a few lengths off and pounce late , with a bit of luck in running worth a nibble @ 7/1

Race 6: Pamushana's Pride , has always looked to be a top horse in the making and should win again , imo Silver Host cant give this one 4kgs so PP will be my banker on the day

In the Oaks Race 7 I like Jasmine ( Futura- Scent From Above by Diesis ) but not sure if this will stay the distance , can one of the breeding fundis on the clan assist with some info in this regard ?

Diesis, the damsire, only raced at 2, full brother to the star Kris. He sired Derby and Oaks performers, so brings Classic stamina to Scent From Above. There is more speed than stamina further back in the tail dam line.
3/4 brother to Jasmine, Alexander by Dynasty stayed 2400m and further.
There is thus a good chance that she stays, but it’s a bit of a concern that she jumps to this trip having never tried a mile or further previously.

Race 1 Illicit Kiss good debut should win this unless a very smart first timer.
Race 2 Global Secret has been running on late, should enjoy this trip and with the fillies allowance both she and Bella Siccome can beat the favourite Hasta Manana
Race 3 Very open maiden, and would not be surprised if a first timer wins.
Race 4 Different Face has raced in UK. Sprinter, has won once on poly and placed 2nd a few times on turf in juvenile races. TFR 78 and has been given MR 91 here, which is not too high. Still a young 3 yo so must be respected with plenty improvement possible. Very open race.
Race 5 Vernichey, Constable, Valyrian King and Chantyman the shortlist
Race 6 Pamushana's Pride meets Silver Host at 1kg better than WFA. Hard to assess true rating as nothing was really running on behind Malmoos in the Derby. These two should fight it out, with Marchingontogether and Chrome Yellow possible upsets.
Race 7 If Chitengo is anywhere near her best will come home lonely.
Race 8 Very open. Expect improved run from Montfort in this class after being under sufferance last time. Long shot value.
Race 9 Open maiden. Another Doug Campbell roughie to consider- Over the Bay needs this trip and if back to best third run after long layoff could cause a shock.
