A bit odd but that winner at 40-1 had 4 pick6 tickets compared to the 12-10 favorite who had 7.

Favorite now has only 2%. The lowest. It’s looks like there is someone who has 34% ticket running with few horses and someone with 1% with few

Not sure it's the track.
I think it's what runs on the track that's the problem.

It's really sad to see KZN racing so weak compared to what it was.
With the best training tracks in the land and probably the best climate in the land we have one trainer in the top 20.Where do our top horses rank in the top 50?
Some of these horses should not be racing.
Once the season is over we gonna have this type of racing twice a week.
As Sly wrote punters do not trust this centre.

The quality of KZN horses has been weak for nearly three decades.

c) In the concluding stages, SEA OF TRANQUILITY (M Yeni) had to be checked and lost position, when awkwardly placed on the heels of ONE NIGHT IN PARIS (S Moodley) which was hanging out and shifted out from the 300m.
A member of the Stipendiary Board called a race review into this incident. However, after viewing the patrol films from the various angles, no further action was taken. In arriving at this decision, the Stipendiary Steward took into consideration that despite SEA OF TRANQUILITY (M Yeni) being prejudiced with regard to its finishing position by the interference, it could not be established from the footage that SEA OF TRANQUILITY (M Yeni) would have beaten ONE NIGHT IN PARIS (S Moodley) but for the above interference. An Inquiry will be opened into this incident.

Can the stipes say with certainty that Sea Of Tranquility would not have finished second or third but for the interference? Imagine in those big 5 Mil sales races - what's the difference between 2nd and 4th place - These rulings need logic not airy fairy applications - Blind Justice needed not blind speculation

in my opinion the jockey of the winner deserves a holiday
and
the winner should have been relegated to 4th place. Based on 4th place objection against the winner. Muzi' horse would have run third if not for the poor poor ride by Moodley.

Soft sanction from the Stipes

Old objection rules he definitely loses the race.
I think if you interfere with a horse and cost it a place you go behind the horse you interfered with.
I know it seems unfair if you win by 5 lengths but cause the 4th horse to lose 3rd position you get demoted to 4th but it will stop a lot of this race riding tactics employed by the jocks.
And as for Moodley,he definitely needs a suspension.
