Ask them to have a meeting at Fairview on the turftrack with full fields of 14 horses. You will know everything about horse racing in SA. You can throw your computaform away.
When you running with the big dogs, u can't piss like a puppy..

Cheers Chicken.
Have been a few times and a great vibe.
My sister booked a private box on one of my trips and a presenter popped in before each race giving pointers and recommended bets for new racegoers.
Great experience not to forget the Powderhall sprint at New Year .👍

Re: How do we market racing ?
3 years 9 months agoJust like Rave Cultre (I tried going a few times in the 90's but it did not take) racing is in your blood or it is not(my brother and sister, 5 yrs older and younger NEVER had a bet but my father and I did so only a few exposed to Racing actually get hooked ) _ The biggest thing that MOD should do is to make live racing free to watch on the net with a STABLE professional platform - I believe when mainstream Media killed racing on proper broadcast platforms Racing started to die - Out of sight out of mind - Newspapers are dying so easy free access to live Racing should be the standard - With both Gauteng courses having geographic challenges(Turffontein is too rough and the Vaal is too far) you need to give punters a mobile home to view - I don't use the tote but the correct way would be to sell vouchers like bookmakers do - I spend zero time in Hollywood but I use their platform every day because I drive to Pick N Pay or Shell etc and buy my vouchers with zero stress - I get paid to my ewallet mostly and can draw from an ATM at leisure -
increasing the monthly TT subscription from R80 to R100...way to go...for a deteriorating service, but don't listen to naysayers...

What is needed is enough cancellations in protest and that price will drop in a very short period of time.
While we are on the topic of TT can anyone tell me who is in charge of that abortion?

The head honchos think they do the punter favours by making them pay for the "product"...long after the goose is dead and they no longer have a trough to dig into for their unearned perks and are looking for employment, we'll still have something else to punt on should the urge still be there...
