The Turffontein Inside track hosts Thursday`s local racing action, a nine race card with a 12:05 start time.


TRACK INFORMATION

Race Track: Turf. 2500m near oval circuit inside Standside Track. All races run clockwise round turn with run-in of slightly less than 500m. Track rises 10m from the 1400m to the 500m marks.

Best Draws: Low-number draws preferable over 1450m and 1600m.

Pen - 20
Going - Good
False Rail - 3.5m on the back straight and bend with a 3.5m spur at the 500m mark

Will post one jockey a day to follow for place bets...if less than 5/10 to place, then ignore that mount...

Today it's G Lerena - has a few very short priced mounts so will ignore those and focus on the 3 that are more than 5/10 to place - Race 7,8,9

Didn't post but yesterday would have been D Dillon - Race 1,2,5 and 8 - 2 placed and 2 didn't but net would have been a small positive...

Listening to the post race interview Van Vuuren thought Sonnenstrahl would walk it.
Wonder then who backed his stable companion which won.

Overall it drifted but it was backed 8 times according to that betting.
