The bad news is that there is a 81% rain prediction and afternoon thunderstorms tomorrow!!!

Will those scratched reserve runners, eg May Queen, be reinstated into the Tuesday card?

No...once you scratch or get eliminated you cannot be reinstated ....

I don’t think that is fair for reserve runners who were “system” withdrawn and who may have an opportunity to run because of a subsequent scratching from a random runner. Oh well...

I will know my fate early enough, double the first two races :-

R1) If we are to go on adjusted times over 1600m, Bellevarde hasn't gone further than 1400m, then Angelsea will win, and comfortably at that.

R2) Depending on how much the track has dried out, the going might still favour the higher draws. Having said that, the race could favour the horses who have run over further ground than the out and out sprinters. Whilst Magnum PI is the ruling favourite and rightly so, as consistent as he is, I am against horses who repeatedly find one better in a race. Whilst Master Of Coin has breathing issues, the fact that Lerena is sticking with this individual speaks volumes, rowing in with this one.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

There are isolated thunder clouds to the south of me. I am about 25km north of Big T.

R5) Ikigai (16/1), this horse worries me. Think/look back, this horse was punted to win the Grade 1 Golden Horse Sprint, hampered, finished down field. Ever since, this horse has been, in the main, kept to sprint races, and has always been in the betting - why?

This horse was once rated a 118 and has his rating dropped to a 107. On the Golden Horse Sprint, he is weighted to finish much closer to a few in this race. Has a good galloping mass, and possibly drawn on the right side of the track. Van Niekerk has 7 rides for Tarry, considering Tarry also has Chimichuri Run in race (5), i would assume he has been assigned the ride and it wasn't a personal choice.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
