More Tote Manipulation

We had a couple of our (SA) big hitters nvolved in this type of practice years ago.

We then had a ruling that you could not cancel a bet of x amount and x minutes before the off,

The details are on the site somewhere, not sure if these rules are still in place but we also never had the open bet in these days.

In my opinion, its professionally manipulated, so that person wager bets on the Open Bet. If you watch the Pools closely you can take advantage of it. Happens often in the UK in 4 or 5 runner fields for a certain bet type. If you cannot beat them, join them....

The problem there is that the bookies won't pay out more than the pool total.
But R3000 and R1900 is not bad at all

There are about 6 to 7 online bookmakers offering Open Bets online. So you can win at each bookmaker whatever the pool is divided by 2 or 3 places.

Certain bet types you do not have to cancel the bet to manipulate the pool.

......fewer people are playing through the tote.....so very easy to manipulate the pools and payouts in smaller pools...is
not all punters perse....just one clever oke in a room with 5-10 operators each with a tote acc and an online device.... he is playing open bet with a bookie while others cancel tote bets on his mark....he moves into the next chair and plays next okes open bet acc and each operator moves one over doing what the clever oke says.....:whistle:

Bob, do let us know if you get any response to this forthcoming on the identification of the cancelled bets - This cannot be that hard, and it is obviously happening at one of the tote branches.
