If the trainer told the owner to back the horse, and it won - is it still gambling? Surely the owner is merely cashing in on a good deal - he's not gambling!

It sounds like the trainer was being a good Samaritan and not encouraging haram - now he is in deep schweet

Not sure how those comments are racist. However, they are unsavory remarks. Shame on Puller.

As an aside, the comments on this thread shows the deep divide that still exists. We have a long way still to go.
