Babies are out and early money for the van zyl horse in the 1st , will try an eachway on the 9 The Charleston , really like the United States bred horses

Race 1, Miss Hannigan is the top choice for me. Heard will running fast and stay on. Dam side is a sprinter of 8 wins, and with gate 3, top jockey on, and making the trip from Durban, it's obviously not in need of the run as the trainer can only get 2-3 runs max under it in the Cape season. The favorite will go close but from gate 11, will need to cut across and may be exposed to the Van Zyl horse.

6-1, a win, 1-1 a place is a great each way choice. Can't see it missing.

Sunny day, headwind expected, but course should be fast.
Race 1 & 2 No clue
Race 3 One is often nervous with WR races, but Electric Feels went very close again last time and looks a cut above this lot. Not In Doubt and Future Turn the main dangers, but there are others with chances if she fluffs her lines.
Race 4 Not much between Doubling Up and Contiguous, so the betting on the latter seems too short. Inside Story could be a lurker. A weakish field so upset possible.
race 5 This is a handicap so how anything can be even money is beyond me. Field in the pick 6 for me.
Race 6 Silvano's Dasher will relish this track and I would think major improvement likely. Banker. Very open if he fails.
Race 7 At the weights, the price on Charles Dickens is insane. If Russian Rock runs anywhere near his best he wins. Just a pity he is a nutter so can't be relied on. Fifty Fiver had a sprint a few weeks ago, and is next best in at the weights and I think will also finish in front of Charles. Kingdom of Heaven is unexposed and likely to show big improvement but very hard to assess here.
Race 8 Our filly Everlasting had only one to beat in the maiden race, and that one runs in the 3rd. Its hard to assess how we will do here, but she should run a good race with Fourie up again and I'm hoping that she can do it but a very open race and most could pop up. The lightly raced Cityscape, Fashion Mistress and Where's the Party could all improve on their ratings and may be the ones to watch.
