Nadine is usually on the ball, but weirdly did not ask most of the trainers about their horses if switched to poly. Only Ziets commented on this even though it was under consideration early in the week, and in particular Smith and Greeff would have been well aware.

Ekoria now also scratched

When interviews were done early wednesday morning wasnt changed yet.... we only received a message from the general manager at Fairview @10h30am :" Just inspected course with Gabby Soma and it has been agreed that Friday’s meeting will take place on the Polytrack.Distances will be announced later as I am currently in a meeting."

We had apparently 80mm again from saturday untill tuesday so we all knew its going to be very tough because everything is just filled up and drainage a problem not just on the grass but everywhere. I stay less tgan a km from the track and still couldnt cut my lawn at home for over a month because everything is still waterlogged. Ive sent 2 photos to dave and bob to post , i took that photos tuesday of my lawn .... its just hectic this last month with all the rain.... hopefully our dams filling up

Got close on the Hollywood lotto yesterday- 7 winners and 2 places as many favourites obliged.
This card could be similar:
race 1 Telio has had many chances but won't get an easier one than this. Lady Chartouche next best and the 2 juveniles could improve to challenge.
race 2 Amazing Colours perennial bridesmaid but seems to have just Baby Love to beat if that one acts on the poly. Symbol of Love two fair runs on poly for the minor money.
Race 3 After the scratchings, Aadehya's draw not so bad, and it should be good enough to beat Miraculous Man.
Race 4 First Origin ran a fair race on poly last time and from a good draw looks the one to beat but is carrying a big weight for a juvenile in open company, and is a November foal. Woodland Ridge won easily last time and looks better than rated, and has a plum draw, but its one poly run wasn't great. Sirnihaallongsword is limited but won on the poly last time and gets a neat draw. Pedro is inconsistent but has won on poly. Pomodoro Magic has scope for improvement. Bethal acts on the surface but drawn very wide. Dawn of a New Era hasn't shown on the poly.
Race 5 Lady Mistico looks hard to beat. dangers are Dancetildaylight, Unconditional Love and Chere for Me.
Race 6 A competitive race. My first choice is Central City but without much confidence, and others to consider in no particular order are Moon Game, Alingalonger, Secret is Ours, Silver Tycoon and Last Storm.
Race 7 Grazinginthegrass has earned top weight and he acts on both surfaces- the one to beat. Cherry Ano is progressive and could be better than rated so is the main danger despite the draw. Peace in our World and Ideal Angel could upset.
Race 8 A tough one to end the day, and many with chances. marginal preference for Hey Siri over Phoenix. Others for the shortlist are Dame of Flames, Get It Done, State of Mind.
