From reading whatsapp and the messages below, all I can gather is that the NHRA turned up and the Peters' vet was doing a procedure too close to race day.. Nothing less and nothing more

Maybe I am missing the point here. Why not use good clear communication to ensure transparency in the game. They been watching Chris Wray too frequently
Hi Naresh…..just a quick reply. All racing jurisdictions have different medication rules. We follow the Asian Racing Conference rules. While I believe USA are working hard to bring their rules into lines for instance in some states you can still race on Lasix. Here it is not allowed.
Different meds have different withdrawal times hence vets being very aware of what can be given on what particular day before racing. There are mild anti inflammatory meds that can be given 3 days before a race. These are not masking pain in a dangerous manner but just to make a hard working athlete (horse) feel more comfortable. I don’t know one racing vet that will intentionally give a stronger than needed med and take a chance on timing. Most of them err on the side of caution
In the era of Social media, Instant Messaging and camera enabled smart phones. The NHRA seem stuck with Fax machines , Rotary phones and Telex machines when they communicate critical information. Rendering them vulnerable to criticism and questioning their motives with certain investigations they undertake.
Horse Racing is a very small circle of people and many who see it as a hobby do not want to be painted with a negative brush. So ur credibility is important, this seems to skip the NHRA when they act. What harm would be done to the investigation to say.
NHRA has withdrawn X from Y yard due to concerns around the safety of XY horses carded to run ZZZ date. The investigation will be completed by AAA date and the trainers remaining runners can race as per normal and trainer may nominate for new meetings at this stage.
U protect the owner and the punters. U have not impugned the trainers reputation or opened it up to hearsay and innuendo.
What the NHRA has done is the opposite of upholding the integrity of the sport with terrible terrible communication.
They need to get their communication department an enema and move them into the 21st century.
