R5: Competitive; not a lot between Breeze Over and Absolute Value, but I think that Breeze Over might be going over the top; Rule Book an obvious danger, while the 3yr-old Leah Alado should improve and with the light weight can surprise; Flying First Class returning back to best and has a good record this track and trip - so not easy
R6: Golden Sickle suited to the 1000, so first choice for me, No Filter also speedy and at the weights has a chance imo; Flower Bomb tries blinkers so who knows, while Moonshiningthrough also very capable but looks better over 1200
R7: Victory Moon where Atticus Finch is all the rage. but I do think Litigation (won this last year) is now spot on and will run him down; dangers imo Star Coin, Electric Gold and East Coast (2nd last year and may now start to improve again)
R8: Mrs Browning (although out of a dam by Galileo) very good sprinter and at these weights should take some stopping from Chyavana; Miss Daisy hangs out so the outside draw to her advantage and has beaten Mrs Browning before, so could be a danger with Mercantour who is also at best down this straight over the trip
R9: Getting more competitive as we go along; Chasing Happiness beat a weak lot imo, so needs to do more; Woman of Power does look an improving type and is first choice for me from Empress Game
R10: If Woman of Power wins the 9th, there is no way that Whirlybird will start at those odds - so if one does fancy Woman of Power, the double may not be bad idea
Enjoy

We have Crimson King in the Victory Moon. After his good win in the consolation July, he was aimed at the Gold Cup, but jarred himself a few days before that, so went on his winter break. He has been progressing well in recent weeks. A somewhat optimistic entry to the Summer Cup, but more likely to end up in the consolation race, where he would be serious runner.
He has a wide draw today and is a bit out at the weights with a few here. He may need the run, but his work has been good and hoping to see him running on strongly under a nice galloping weight with a jock who knows him well.
I don't expect him to win, but he could sneak a place if he gets some luck in the running. It looks a wide open contest.

Thunee Player imo very unlucky - got taken out by Muzi at the start and then then in the straight got hampered by the horse breaking down - I suppose that's racing
