My punt of the day would be Gentleman Joe in the 6th - ran to much higher last time - can't believe he is 5/1

Probably start favourite, the 5/1 is no more, 4/1 now.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Interesting first-timer in R3 - Showgirl - and expensive 1/2 sister to Tres Chic by new-sire-on-the-block Soqrat - only runner for the Muscutt on the day and he has engaged the services of Elvis' hero Fayde-Herbe - obviously one does not know how her work is - but I would watch the betting on that

1 year 7 months agoEarly betting seems to indicate she is 'out-for-the-run' - would have to be quite good imo to roll over the odds-on shot Kyalami Girl. who boasts strong form - even if not 100% after a break of a;most a yearCharles Dickens half sister runs in the 4th, pretty exciting as all the progeny of that dam seem to perform above average

See it is drfting, but my opinion, when the Muscutt stable has them right, he tends to use Fourie. No disrespect intended toward Bernard, conversely, if he is doing this for price, it is having the desired effect 14/1.
