Race 3:
- Crystal Maiden
Decent Joburg form.
Encouraged by her 3rd run back when 3rd to Azaleas For All.
Multiple winners out of formline.
Has a lethargic/laboured stride but think Richard will be on top of her.
Blinker strike should also sharpen her up.

Expecting improved runs from Hat's Miracle and Love Song.

Trifecta:
1/2,5,6/2,3,5,6,8

Race 4;
- Harold The Duke
Hard to oppose the in-form Mitchley stable.
Will go close.
Made a good local debut in his last run.
Looked a winner but touched off in closing stages after being slow away at the start.
Backed down from 6-1 to 3-1.

Dangers are Puerto Plata and Reach For The Stars.
Expecting a better run from King Of Seville.

Race 5:
- Pembroke

The scratching of Light Without makes this open looking race a bit easier.

Pembroke looks progressive.
Outpaced at a crucial stage but finished strong over 1400m last time out.
The 1600m will suit.

Globetonic better suited to poly.
Will overlook here.

Dowser and Storm Commander look likely pacemakers.
Pembroke and Alingalonga to be flying at them at the end.

Trifecta:
2,10/1,2,10/1,2,8,9,10

Race 6:
- Fairy Knight
Classy sort and wouldn't be out of place contesting features in KZN in the winter.
Has improved since gelding and will avenge his loss to Zoomie.

Hat's Pride is the danger.

Trifecta:
4/2,3/1,2,3

Race 7:
- Silver Falcon
Inconvenienced in his last run in the Diadem.
Should've been closer.
Snaiths mission for today.

Khayas Hope, Smorgasbord and Countdown to give check.
Cliff Top also a runner if back to his best.
Inherit The Rain flying at them for minors.

Trifecta:
3/1,4/1,2,4,6,7

Race 8:
- Beau Kala
Very consistent and could be rewarded today with replacement pilot Schwarz.
Riding style will suit.

Concerto has claims but think will find it difficult at weights vs hard knockers.
De Janiero a danger after good debut and finding 1600m a touch too far.
Lurkers would be Queen Of Gaul on local debut & Colorama if fit after break.

Trifecta:
5/1,8,11/1,2,3,8,11

R7 Did the Snaith runner run in the race?

Not sure why they bother sending their horses to this course
