My fav has always been

"you are a short time living and a long time dead"

The sooner you are aware of this, you might just have a more positive approach to your "current" life.

imvho

I've always liked "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy" and suggest this to be put above the bar in the ABC box.

I have a runner in the first race on Saturday 11.15 and 2 in the 12th race 18.00. Any idea where I can buy a comfortable sleeping bag ?

In between Brutus who was most indignant when I told him the guys at Freeracer, Clyde, Nico and Sean Tarry had all rubbished him. He challenges the Devil's Advocate on Freeracer to a R 1000 bet that he will neither finish last nor finish lame on Saturday, proceeds to go to National Horseracing Trust.

Come on DA, put your money where your big mouth is.

Well, opening betting from those brave bookies in KZN on Jaroslaw and Fair Brutus now 50/1 after both horses being generally available at 100/1. Which description fits best do you think:-

1. They know something we don't.
2. They are tight-arsed and want to rip the punters off.
3. They are gentle souls who are afraid of a sudden rush of money for these 2 horses.

Imagine that the sole Vaal bookie is probably betting 10/1 the pair.
