YORK EBOR DAY ONE Wednesday

It's worth an early post 😉

What a fantastic 4 days of top class racing is on offer.

Some superb clashes on day one.

The big race of the day and possibly of the season is the Juddmonte where Ombudsman meets the unbeaten Constitution River for the Obrien and Moore combination.

I rate Ombudsman as one of the top horses I have seen and rather bullish that will be the winner.
Evens is a decent price.

I have been reading a few articles and found this one on Racing Post well worth a listen.

Day one at York

The clash between the Obrien horse Constitution River and Ombudsman is a must watch in race 4 the Juddmonte.
Obrien rates the River as one of the best he has trained vs one of the highest rated horse on the planet.
Steady money coming for the River but I am firmly in the MANS court .
They could start joint favs .

Race 3 Maltese Cross
Race 6 Manatee Mehmas

R 4 The betting between the top two gives nothing away.I think Ombudsman is right at his peak now but has to give CONSTITUTION HILL a fair(7lb) bit of weight.

R 5 VALEDICTORY was heavily backed failure last time out,can redeem here.

R 2 HAFFNER has raced twice away from Ireland and therefore is entitled to be well fancied.
