The poker syndi are not happy chappies, they where told that the filly would have to go into the mares sale as she wouldn`t run again thru injury.

They reluctantly alowed her to enter this sale instead of the horses in training sale the day before(were they believed they would get a better price)

Then they notice that she is still in training with the same trainer and owned by some of coolmore mob,and entered in the JULY cup

This is hard to believe ,the owners thought they were ripped off at the time..

The Filly who was sold as retired in the sale, made her debut today for Coolmore at Royal Ascot after 610 days of the track...

And wins the Wokingham Hcp, won of the hardest races of the entire meeting on the snap!!!

I have no idea what went on behind the scenes, but an impressive training feat.

Jeremy Noseda's Laddies Poker Two landed a monster gamble on her first racecourse appearance in 610 days in the Wokingham Stakes.

The five-year-old was sent off at 9-2 having been available at double-figure odds.

Johnny Murtagh appeared confident throughout on the grey and once he asked her to quicken clear passing the furlong marker, the response was electric as she passed the post two and half lengths ahead of Striking Spirit.

Palace Moon and Knot In Wood filled the places.

Noseda said: "A job done. This plan was hatched in December 2008. She got a bad injury in the spring of 2009 and it meant she had to have the year off so the plan got delayed another year.

"A huge thank you to my staff at home. She has been an extremely tough filly to train.

"It's a been a long plan over a long period of time. To get her here on the day has been a huge team effort.

How the hell can they have hatched a plan in 2008 if she was being sold as injured?
