Whose this little birdie I would love to know Easy. I think the trainer suggests and the owner decides. I doubt the owner has decided that as yet trust me.

An educated guess on this I would say that Oracy may not be a July contender as he would by then have had a tough season. I am sure that the triple crown is now a realistic target for this horse and the July may turn out to be a step too far.
Excuse my ignorance but the group of three year olds seem to be a week bunch every year. This comment seems to pop up around talk of July. I have not been racing long (July 05) but have noticed this comment every year since then, but then again when comparing to Dynasty I suppose it is quite difficult to say that the curent group are anywhere near that but they may be as good as Eye of the Tiger who did win the July against the older bunch.

the horse will win the triple crown he will then go into quarentine and campaign in EU/Dubai with the Arc as his main target next year (all being well) there is also a possibility that he will go the other route and run in the melbourne cup. Record this and save it....the birdie is seldom wrong.

He may well win the triple crown, as there are no top class 3yo colts in Gauteng.
After that he will need big improvement on anything he has shown so far if he isn't to be embarassed when going up against our 2 established superstars when taken to KZN

Interesting debate - looking into the crystal ball I am not 100% convinced that the 2 established superstars (La Drakkar and Big City Life?) are that much better (if at all) than the Gauteng colts - I know they are rated higher, but on what grounds?
True, the fact that there almost was a triple dead heat in the Guineas indicates that there are no superstars here in Gauteng, but in my book the Cape stars have not proved that they are any better. Imo the facts will only be revealed in the KZN season.
Also interesting is that Oracy is widely expected to be 'better over further'. I know he is by Zabeel, but is out of a sprinting mare (according to Robin Bruss on Inside Racing). I also respect the trainer's opinion, but I think back to Warm White Night and I start to wonder....

Ok Doc, thought we were talking about 3 yr olds; off course he is nowhere near their class yet and therefore unlikely to be a July contender
