Barry their is a very good reason why I would not post my identity. It will surely cause a stir which I have stayed away from through out my " Racing " career .
Please respect my decision to not reveal my identity. I have not and will not post anything of disrespectful nature to any of the posters on this site.

With respect, Lex, could you perhaps inform us on whether you are an RA member and if so, what you have done to change the 'intentional mistakes'?

Certain posters have divulged their identities, taken a stand, have posted thoughtful contributions, stuck to their guns with a take no prisoners approach.
If their posts offend, why read or comment on them. All racing people have been sold down the river by extremely greedy leaders who are untouchable and has left the rest of us frustrated and fighting with each other. How those bastards must be laughing

Unfortunately I am a RA member .
If only we members could unite we could have made alot of changes.
Their are only a handful of members who would question the RA decisions mainly
because the majority are just their for show. They don't feel they need to contribute cause they just worried about racing incentives if their are any.
Back to your question , yes I have on numerous occasions tried to challenge them
and trust me it falls on deaf ears. I have now moved into my comfort zone and will stay there cause I do not need threats and abuse from people that are so in denial about their capabilities that they will do about anything to hold on to that power.

I stopped attending RA meetings Oscar along time ago. Like I said my profile is now very low , just the way I intend keeping it. Rather focus on family and business.
Just like SAMA ( South African Medical Association ) now run by politicians the RA is now run by Phumelela whether they admit or not.

Adios stop fishing , you make it to obvious. I have been in the game long enough .. not the usual folks you deal with on the other forum.

Thanks for the direct reply to my question. Lex. May I then also ask why you are still a member, if you are just 'going with the flow'?
In general, I am wondering how the RA was originally formed. Did some like-minded people just suddenly decide to form an association? It seems logical that there was more to it than that; lots of planning? taking a lot of time?
My point is this: given the current dissatisfaction, is it not possible to start planning the formation of a new country wide association. I realize that this will not be an easy task and we need some leaders; unfortunately most of us are so tied up in our 'real jobs' that no-one has the time - or the will to sacrafice (perhaps too strong a word).
From what I have read, the 'concerned owners' movement was a starting point that was squashed by the 'people in power'. Is it not possible to resurrect this movement - somebody must know what went wrong last time (and how to avoid it this time)?
Or do we just 'go with the flow'?

I've not been on this forum long.. But i have been on other forums(from gaming to general discussions) for many years. And tbh its all the same.. No matter what forum you sign to be it a forum discussing the life of mother theresa. You'll get ppl who will agree with wat is posted and who will disagree.. Arguements will rise.. Name will be called and feelings will get hurt.. That is that. Its wat the internet is really about hey.. Freedom of speech, able to voice your opinion in the safety of your keyboard. . For i'm sure if some things where said face to face. Some one would get a fat lip and a black eye.. As for this site i think its great. As your average punter i've learned alot more about racing that i didn't know of when i started.. And i thank the ppl in charge of this forum and website for jobs well done.. For i'm sure it very time consuming to moderate any kinda forum and kudo's to you all..
