The bookmaker is not new as such but will be new in terms of having a fully functional online site bringing us to somewhere around double figures in SA if I am not mistaken.

Absolutely agree fingers. The spread betting opportunities locally are dire. It's by far my most favorite on-line, but am forced to venture to sites like sportingindex, and would love some more local opportunity. Both my banks have made it clear that they are under increasing pressure from the reserve bank regarding foreign transactions for gambling, so I'm trying to stick to the local market.

And the offering from local bookmakers has actually got worse rather than better over the last 12 months or so

When you deposit money with greatodds you get whacked with a foreign exchange rate fee, how do they distinguish between “legal” and “illegal” deposits?

How do you deposit, fingers? I haven't had the same experience. I deposit via FNB into their FNB bank account, and the money is credited instantly. I haven't seen any forex fees on my FNB or Greatodds a/c.

Any news yet, Brent? Don't see anything on the web site (yet).
