Guys, I wait to hear from Lucky.
But is it me, once again She gets a good jump, level with the other Horse and for some reason she isn't given her head to get the rail?
It must have been 800-900M 'fighting' for her head - just GIVE IT TOO HER - no?
I thought the whole thing with her was let her go, she'll settle after 600-700 relax her and encourage her from 500M out?
Lucky finally found the 'key' to her, and she's not been given her head since.
The fact that she was coming on again at the end proves that the distance isn't a problem.
Please , lets get her out let her run up front - when she's relaxed (600-800m) she'll finally settle. Then increase the pressure coming home.
I'm not for giving up on her just yet. Especially as I believe the first jock to get her on the front pacing - not sitting off / up with the pace ON FRONT - will bring home the bacon. Wait a minute we already had her do that ONCE.
Come guys, as Hibby says shes meant as a bit of fun - no one expected an Oaks type, so lets enjoy her -
Jim.
9ps I agree with Yeldah, how about a try w/Blinkers Lucky?)

Jimbo ..lucky hasnt given her head since..heehee!
Seriously guys this has nothing to do with my love and support with the syndicate..the call was made by both Cat and myself after last run..PE.. but that didnt go down too well so shes now had another run..I personally have too many babies right now to continue with horses that dont earn..dont get me wrong I love this filly she is very nice and will settle better as she gets older and will prob win again in the right field..she did come back at them again at the end of that race which is a very good sign..shes got courage. Shes also got gate speed and good pace..would like to see Striker ride her .hes the right jock for her..however if anyone wants to make an offer for my shares please let Scotia know.

Great minds think alike Lucky - lol!
Striker could be the right call - Get her Out - Let her set the Pace - She'll EVENTUALLY Settle - Encourage her 500m out BINGO - bring home the bacon dbl-lol!!
Oscar, I know it's nothing personal my mate - look forward to seeing your babies tear the track up in the next few months - Ouzo, Jim.

Jamster I am thinking very much along the same lines you are.
What disappointed me about todays race was not so much the final result (although that hurt the pocket a bit) but the fact that she was not set free to dictate the pace.
It was actually kind of strange the way she came back towards the end, when she started fading I was thinking here comes a 20 length beating and yet she hung in there quite nicely.
One thing that is a pity (for someone like me who works in Joburg) is the distance to the Vaal track which makes getting there on a weekday afternoon really tough.
I watched the race with a few hardened owners who actually thought she ran a reasonably good race.

No disrespect to Lucky and syndicate members but I advised earlier .
Put the blinkers on and get the horse to the front. She loses concentration as others get close to her. Put Marcus on the horse . Just my 2cents.

My opinion.... if it counts for anything.... Striker on with blinkers.
Don't give up just yet.
How much for a share in the horse? I'm young and I think this is the horse to start off with. Although I am waiting for a Jet Master yearling share to pop up

Some feedback from Mr H on my Facebook wall
"Brent that was really not a bad run - the field may have been "weak" but what the critics fail to mention is that she was getting .5kg from a four-time-winner and that she finished close up to a five-time-winner - i still have the feeling that she would be better suited to shorter - 1600m - jump and steal 4 lengths - If i owned her i would not send her to PE yet - that should be her job after her four-year-old campaign - just my opinion(if the guys write off the money as "drinking" money and be patient she will pick up a race soon)"
