DARRYL stiff with your P.A. on SATURDAY

I actually think Darryl is one of the better ones; and as JAP says, it is not easy to catch a nice PA with a limited budget. Would be interesting to have a month long PA competition between Darryl and Molly.

But it is my money, so I prefer to lose it on my own picks

I caught a PA at Kenilworth paying R462.30 20 times last year. It paid R9246. Then a month later another paying R4000+. Ever since I've been going out 1 or 2 legs. mostly in the first or second leg. I only only play R20 per meeting when i get the chance. Been some good times but not of late.......

some thing for thought, set up a team/s of 7. Each member chooses a leg and see if we can hit the PA straight line! 7 brains better than one.

Was just a bunch of posters who all contributed R200.... and we play a R200 perm daily for 69% ....each person picks a straight line and then based on popularity a banker is chosen. So far it has seldom been the banker that has let us down...

Lets do it here.... no monies need to be given in. Each person is assigned a leg and chooses his banker. After all choices are made, we have our straight line PA. Wether or not you play it is up to you....

Imo the straight line method is not the way to go (and I think the folks on Racingweb are starting to see this); the problem is that one starts to try and predict what the other members are going to select and then cover; also often the correct 'lurker' falls by the wayside as one needs to make one selection only. I think that having 7 members each allocated a leg with no maximum number of runners per leg (or else 5 runners max per leg) would work better.

russeldewee, I assume you are laying out the R20 partly for some entertainment; if your goal is to turn a profit, my suggestion would be to save up those R20's and take a R100 once every 2 weeks - better chance of success imo.

I agree with frodo, need to allocate 1 person per leg rather than the straight line, although they have caught a good few pa's with the straight line method.

If 1 is started here, I would be keen to join...
