I think the point that most people are attempting to make is that some very capable trainers are not getting a lot of support from owners who would much rather follow the bigger established yards.
Lucky is a perfect example of a trainer with a small yard but who is a most competent trainer if given half the opportunities of i.e. My Kazzie

Adios I wrote that post way after my bedtime and your question is not a stupid one.

What are the criteria then ??

And I do concede re Doug Campbell - good man with a lovey farm at Sugar Hill - and gets the results at non Graded level.

I just feel that your trainer should be like your gynae - he knows a helluva lot about you and every now and again exposes you to things you didn't necessarily choose when you first met him.

Problem is 90% of trainers have no business ethic - communication and PR non existent
