Yes, Greet the Day does actually hold Gap Year on previous form, but I think she (GtD) is better over 1400 and Gap holds her comfortably on their last run; regarding Eternal Glory, I think she needs 2000 or further - only the race will tell I suppose

I think he is thinking along the lines of Nicci Welch having to ride a certain numbers of winners come 31 July and that the other jocks will hand her the race on a plate, so I guess if you see Elvis and myself rushing to take the 100/1 on offer just before the off....take note - lol - would have been an interesting puzzle for those looking for conspiracies if Nicci had secured the ride on Silver Jet in the last

Why does she have to ride x winners before the season ends? There's f-all chance her licence won't be renewed whatever happens in the next few weeks. I must be missing something here.

If it has anything to do with her apprenticeship being extended, well, the longer she can claim an allowance the better for her and her fans. BTW, her strike rate on Spies horses is vastly better than Naude's, which is an interesting statistic.
