Yes..I ask why they have to tip and give the public their 1 2 and 3..as pirates says IF and thats a big IF you have an on course presenter then they should only be giving the trainers input and how the horses look on the way to the start.

Also I personally have a problem with Tellytrack presenters being aligned with a stable..lets say the Tellytrack presenter is aligned with a stable then one would expect exact info on any horses from that stable running on the day...ie this maiden is working extremely well, he beat a 2 time winner on the gallops leading up to this race, his weight is right, his bloods are the best they ever been..have a punt?

Or am I dreaming?

My question is why do Tellytrack employ presenters that are aligned with a particular stable or stud farm..surely to goodness there are others in SA who dont have jobs , know horses and can present?..or am I dreaming again?

Ja easy looks that way..cant believe it..its a division of a listed company how is it allowed?

Is there no conflict of interest in a presenter tipping horses from other stables when they have a runner in the race?

Oscar

Betfair have now started showing the racing fromsa and i had forgotten how it was. After everysingle race i genuinely want to puke.

Every single person thanks:
the owner
the breeder
the jockey
the groom
the cousin

and it goes on and on, there is genuinely NOT 1 person that is an INDIVIDUAL they all sound the same, say the same, think the same. And this runs right through to the top , there is NOT 1 lateral thinker amongst all of them not 1 that says "hey why dont we try this" Not 1 that say's why dont we employ someone BY ADVERTISING in the

sowetan
citizen
star

Why do we always employ from within
Why are there so many of us that have more than 1 FUNCTION in racing

and the reason NOT 1 person ever says that is because they all pallie pallie and all owe each other favours and all owe each other promotions and jobs.IMVHO

I live abroa but if i am ever in sa and i am blessed with a winner, I will say:

"this is all because of ME, i brought this jcokey and trianer together by providing the horse, i am the MAIN MAN. I contribute to racing and i see not a lot coming back my way."

Heehee AB!

Easy Im with you on this..what I am saying is:

What is a tip defined as?

ie would a tip on a horse from a stable employee equate to a stock tip from a director of a company based on information not available to the public?

Are you guys refering to those guys on TV...
great bunch..
well spoken..
well groomed..
well dressed..

knows a lot about breeding..
how much weight the horse has gained or lost..
how it looked in the parade ring..
when its the owners birthday..
when the owner is over seas..
when the owner is sick in bed..

However...when it comes to horse racing...
whatever they tip..

clueless....

go to www.turfsport.com.sg....race cards..tipster predictions...
this is real tips...
follow them...will make good money...

back to our friendly guys...
put Julie on...at least we can look at her...

the guy in PE...his PA is fairly good...
molly...look for the weird horses in his PA...
the rest....consider garden services or anything else...

To my dear friend Mr Burg. Up to a year ago I was a jockey riding in Cape Town but mostly in Mauritius. Unfortunately no one advised me to take a Dale Carnegie course in case I am diagnosed with a dread desease by the age of 35. Mr Knowles kindly invited me as his guest on Teletrack to give him a hand with selections and previewing of races. On Saturday He was stuck in traffic and told me that I would have to do the first 2 races alone, naturally I was nervous as I was given a mic and told to carry on and if I umed and erred and umed and ered and my smoothness was like a brilo pad I do have to apologise as I had no training. But my tipping hasnt been all that bad because GUESS WHAT MR Burg thats where I have experience. And because you allowed me the honour of riding one of your (horses) about 10 years ago and we such good friends Im gonna do you a favour and excuse myself from teletrack and boring you to death on TV.

I don't want to bash any of them, but it all boils down to proper training. Guys like Mark Niesius certainly have potential, think he was thrown into the fire....Brett Smith another who I think would make a great on course presenter ...again needs the proper training...They can all learn from Chainsaw imo, definitely in a different class.

Mark you always going to have critics as a presenter. If you enjoy doing it don't give up, rather prove them wrong...I mean after what you got over, this challenge will be a breeze.
